You are Invited

Then Peter stood up with the Eleven, raised his voice and addressed the crowd… Acts 2:14

Today you are invited to consider the difference the Holy Spirit makes in your life.  For Peter, who had betrayed his Lord, had been forgiven and had stayed with the disciples in the Upper Room until the coming of the Spirit, it meant he was given the courage to speak out for Jesus – and 3000 lives were changed on that day.  What part does the Holy Spirit play in your work for Jesus?  What do you do now for God that you would not have dreamed of doing five years ago – or a year ago – or a month ago?  What happens in your life that you find hard to understand from a human point of view, knowing you could not do these things if it weren’t for the Holy Spirit?  What is God saying to you about these things?

May God bless you with an assurance of His presence in the Holy Spirit today.
